Libya oil exports surpass one million barrels per day in January 2018

Genscape, US Company that provides market insights and intelligence to global commodity and energy markets, said oil production in Libya reached 1.083 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil and 1.133 million barrels of oil liquids in January.

The company said, on its official website on Wednesday, the current levels of production in Libya are equal to what it was in July 2013, indicating that the majority of oil fields in Libya worked in a relatively stable condition in January, without a sharp decline In production levels due to weather conditions or armed attacks.

Libya’s crude oil production reached 962,000 bpd last December, OPEC said.
