Renzi: Immigrants arrive in Italy due to military intervention in Libya

Former Italian Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi attributed the influx of immigrants to his country to the military intervention in Libya in 2011.

Renezi, according to the Italian agency AKI, rejected former Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi’s accusations of opening Italy’s borders to illegal immigration flows, saying the immigrants had arrived in Italy because of military intervention in Libya when Berlusconi was prime minister.

On Thursday, French President Emmanuel Macron blamed America and the European Union for the crisis in Libya.
