Ukraine confirms the return of its citizens released in Libya

President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko announced on Friday, the return of four citizens of his country, who were imprisoned for several years in Libya.

Poroshenko praised in a tweet the return of the four individuals, thanking the diplomatic and international efforts that led to their release.

The four Ukrainians entered Libya in June 2011 with a group of international specialists from Belarus and Russia, and were arrested on charges of cooperating with the Gaddafi regime.
