2 dead and 1 wounded in armed attack on guards in Sabha

Two security guards were killed on Saturday after an armed group attacked their headquarters in Al-Qarda.

The mayor of Sabha, Abu Saif Mohammed told ArraedLG on Sunday, that the attack killed 2 members of the guard, and injuring another, adding that one of the attackers was wounded during the guard’s response to the attack.

The mayor said the armed group specializes in “robbery”, adding that its members were staying with their families inside the military hospital in Sabha.

Abu Saif also said, the Security Directorate of Sabha gave the armed group 72 hours to leave the military hospital.

Sabha has been witnessing a period of non-existing security and chaos.
