House of Representatives denounces bombings in Benghazi

The House of Representatives (HOR) condemned, on Wednesday the two explosions that took place in the surrounding area of Al-Radwan Mosque in Al-Salmani neighborhood in Benghazi, which killed dozens of civilians.

In a statement, the HOR described the bombings as a “coward terrorist” act, offering condolences to the families of the victims, the people of Benghazi and the entire Libyan people, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.

The council appealed to the security personnel to prosecute the perpetrators and bring them to justice to receive their punishment for what they committed against the Libyan people, according to the statement.

The number of victims from the bombing amounted to more than 30 dead and 90 wounded.
