France offers 300,000 euros to support health facilities in Libyan south

The French Embassy in Libya announced that it had donated 300,000 euros to the World Health Organization in 2017 to support health facilities in the south.

The embassy said on its official Facebook page, on Monday that the aid included health facilities in Kufra, Sabha and Ubari, stating the World Health Organization (WHO) as a liable partner that will ensure that this assistance reaches those in need.

In December, WHO representative in Libya announced the dispatch of urgent medical equipment to Sabha, sufficient to meet the needs of 10,000 people for up to three months.
