Gharyan central security patrols seize truck smuggling fuel

Central security patrols in Gharyan municipality seized a fuel smuggling truck at Al-Hira Gate, one of the main entrances of the municipality.

The head of the gate, Salah Hamidan told ArraedLG, on Monday the central security personnel at the gate seized a truck carrying materials for construction when they found a reservoir filled with diesel hidden under the construction materials with a capacity of about 3000 liters, pointing out Nalut as the destination of the truck before being seized.

In June, the anti-smuggling and drugs department of the municipality of Gharyan seized five tanks loaded with 200,000 liters of gasoline and diesel fuel.
