123 illegal immigrants rescued off the shores of Garabulli

The Coast Guard announced that it had rescued 123 illegal immigrants off the coast of Garabulli, on Wednesday.

The Libyan navy spokesperson, Ayoub Qassem told ArraedLG that Sabrata boat managed to rescue 123 illegal immigrants from different African countries, including 13 women, 22 children and 88 men on a rubber boat about 28 miles North coast of  Garabulli.

Qassem said the migrants were handed over to the illegal immigration agency, after providing humanitarian aid to them.

On Monday, the Coast Guard patrols rescued 352 illegal immigrants in two separate occasions, in both Garabulli and Zuwara.
