Yefren hospital suffer lack of medical staff

The mayor of Yefren, Hussein Kafo said on Sunday, the health sector in the municipality suffers from a lack of facilities and services.

Kafo told ArraedLG that Yefren hospital is suffering from poor services due to lack of medical and assistant medical personnel, adding that they have set up committees to conduct field assessments of the hospital and record its medical supplies and equipment.

The mayor said that they agreed with doctors from Yefren that reside outside the municipality to organize visits to help the sick and to train medical staff in Yefren.

Yefren has a hospital and 11 clinics mostly suspended from service; due to lack of medical staff and resources.
