In a statement on Wednesday, the President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, called Sadiq Al-Kabir, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya and, Ali Al-Hibri, the Governor for the Central Bank in Bayda, to an urgent meeting next week, under the supervision of the Presidential Council; in order to take measures to unify the central bank.
Al-Sarraj expressed his hope to reach a monetary policy in order to solve the exchange rate problem and the shortage crisis to support the Libyan Dinar.
