Turkish ambassador to Libya Ahmet Dogan: ANKA continues to work at the Ubari station despite the kidnapping

During a meeting with the President of the Supreme Council of the State, Abdulrahman Asswehly on Tuesday in Tripoli, Turkish Ambassador to Libya Ahmet Dogan confirmed the continued work of the Turkish company, ANKA Technik, at the Ubari gas station despite the kidnapping of Turkish workers.

Asswehly called upon the Turkish government to push to convene the Security Council for an emergency meeting in order to discuss the repercussions of the air raid on Derna.

Dogan stated that there were new measures to facilitate Libyan citizens’ access to a Turkish visa in Tripoli and Misrata; adding that they are continuing to work towards the  opening of a Turkish consulate in Benghazi.

Dogan also announced that two advanced medical centers in the cities of Misrata and Al-Baydah should be opening soon, following completion by Turkish companies at the end of this year.
