UN envoy Ghassan Salame: We await the responses of the delegation for the Joint Drafting Committee be it “positive or negative”

The UN envoy to Libya Ghassan Salame, considers the formation of a Joint Drafting Committee consisting of the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of the State “an achievement.”

In a press statement issued on Wednesday Salame said that the creation of the committee for the first time since the signing of the political agreement is a good precedent; adding that the committee’s delegations have a number of points to review in their respective councils, which has led them to return to Libya.
