British Court of Appeal rejects Libyan Investment Corporation’s appeal against US Goldman Sachs

The British Court of Appeal rejected an appeal by the Libyan Investment Corporation (LIA) in a ruling by the London High Court in the case against Goldman Sachs.

According to Reuters, Launcelot Henderson, a judge at the appeals court concluded that the grounds by which LIA filed for appeal had no real prospect of success.

The London High Court ruled in November last year against the lawsuit filed by the Libyan Investment Corporation (LIA) in 2014 against Goldman Sachs for misappropriation, due to them misrepresenting trading in 2007 and 2008 with a financial value of more than $ 1 billion.
