The Head of the Drafting Committee for the #HOR, Abdul Salam Nasiyah, stated that the council has met the conclusions reached by the Joint Dialogue Committee during the first round of the #Tunis meeting.
During his speech, Nasiyah confirmed that the #HOR agreed that the functions of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces be transferred over to the Presidential Council; so long as the #HOR authorizes the Presidential Council’s decisions.
He added that the Joint Dialogue Committee for #HOR presented a detailed report to the representatives in #Tunisia. He also stated that the #HOR expressed its satisfaction with the conclusions reached by the committee regarding the building of the executive authority, constitutional proposals, the articles upon which there is disagreement and the options provided for their amendment.
