European Union officials stated that they are seeking to reopen its embassy in #Libya, if the security situation in the country improved- as reported by Reuters.
This decision came about in attempt to provide support to the #GNA. In a draft joint statement, the #EU stated that they intended to announce in #Brussels their support for the creation of a permanent #EU presence in #Libya in the near future.
