On Tuesday, the French ambassador to #Libya, Brigitte Curmi met with the President of the Presidential Council Fayez Al- Sarraj in #Tripoli. In this meeting, she confirmed #France’s support for the Government of National Accord and stability in #Libya, based on a roadmap proposed by UN envoy Ghassan Salame which should lead to presidential and parliamentary elections.
In turn, Al-Sarraj praised the role of #France in supporting the stability of #Libya, noting that the stages of the roadmap must have a specific timeframe that allows for elections to be held next year.
