On Monday, the municipality of #Tobruk asked the Presidential Council to maintain the sewage stations and to treat garbage dumps.
The mayor of the municipality, Nuri Durman, met with the President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj in #Tripoli. During this meeting, he stated that they fear an “environmental disaster” in the event of delayed maintenance of the stations, and resolution to the landfill problems.
Al-Sarraj instructed the specialized authority to assess the amount of money needed to maintain stations and address the problem of landfills, according to the Facebook page of #GNA.
