On Friday, the Libyan-Italian Committee on the issue of illegal immigration stated that more than 13 thousand and five hundred migrants were rescued off the coast of #Libya till mid-September.
This statistic came at a meeting of Italian Interior Minister Marco Minnie with officials from the Ministries of Interior, Defense and Foreign Affairs.
The participants discussed the possibility of #Italy sending emergency assistance to the southern region through Libyan authorities in the coming period- according to AKI news agency.
