On Friday, Italian President, Sergio Mattarella, called on the European Union to join #Italy to shoulder the burden in caring for refugee camps in #Libya.
Mattarella stressed that #Italy should not be sole bearer of responsibility to support refugee camps in #Libya, and that the Europeans should share this burden. He added that the reduced flow of immigrants is the result of #italy’s agreement with #Libya- as reported by the Italian agency Aki.
