On Thursday, the P3+3 countries and UN envoy to #Libya Ghassan Salame discussed the issue of subordination of the Libyan military institution to the civilian authority according to the political agreement at the #London meeting.
Arraed LG received a copy of the meeting agenda discussed by the P3+3 countries represented by the foreign ministers of #America, #Britain, #Italy, #France, #Egypt and the #UAE. The meeting agenda included a demand stating that the P3+3 bear responsibility for stopping the flow of arms to non-state actors in #Libya.
The group also discussed the importance of maintaining the political agreement as a reference; stressing the risks associated with calling for the end of its legal term. They also called for the solution to the crisis in #Libya to be political and not militarily based.
