The head of the #Sabratha military council, Tahir Al-Gharabli, stressed that the Government of National Accord has not provided any support to the immigration control unit in the city, nor any of the battalions for combatting smuggling or illegal immigration.
Al-Gharabli stated to #ArraedLG that ex-smugglers are now those combatting smuggling today. He added that the Italian government has signed an agreement with a group of smugglers in order to regulate immigration, rather than fight it.
