On Wednesday, the Libyan Navy’s coast guard captured a tanker that was attempting to smuggle fuel by the western coast.
Navy spokesman, Ayoub Kassem, stated the tanker was loaded with 1,160,000 liters of diesel fuel. The tanker was carrying the flag of #Tanzania and a crew consisting of 10 different nationalities.
Kassem stated that the navy also captured a #Maltese fishing tanker, attempting to fish in Libyan territorial waters without a license.
