Sarraj pledges to return public services to Benghazi

The head of the presidential council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, promised on Thursday that the people of Benghazi would return to the city after the end of what he described a “difficult period that the city experienced after years of suffering.” In a statement, Al-Sarraj confirmed that the Presidential Council would rebuild public services and Infrastructure. Sarraj expressed his hope that the next phase will be a pivoting point for building a “democratic and civilian state, with one army and independent institutions.” Noting that the priority now is to start reconstruction and rebuilding excellent facilities to serve the people of Benghazi
