The head of the Supreme Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, denied, on Monday, that there was any agreement that the Speaker of the Tobruk Parliament, Aqeela Saleh, would assume the Presidency of the new presidential Council, and that Al-Mishri would be his deputy, stressing that he did not want to hold any position.
Al-Mishri said, in his interview with February TV, that what matters to me now is to end the current transitional phase and the referendum on the constitution, stressing their insistence on rejecting any presence of Haftar in any capacity or granting him any position in any new agreement.
