Two people, associated with #ISIS blew themselves up in front of the #Misrata court complex.The attackers clashed with guards at the complex before detonating themselves; resulting its the death of 4 people and the wounding of 41. The Director of the Security Directorate of #Misrata added that the confrontation was violent’ and that the #ISIS fighters ‘were heavily armed with ammunition and machine guns’.
According to the spokesperson for Albonyan Almarsous Security Forces, Mohamed Al-Ghassari, two #ISIS fighters were killed and the third was arrested. The Director of the Security Directorate of #Misrata added that they neutralized a car full of explosives in front of the court complex.
The director denied the existence of any #ISIS trials today; adding that the bombing was retaliation for the defeat of #ISIS in #Sirte. He stated that the attack is an attempt by #ISIS to assert its’ presence. The director also emphasized the fact that they have prepared a contingency plan for such cases.
