On Tuesday, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Siala, renewed his call in a speech to the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of foreign ministers. He called on the Libyan parliament to fulfill its obligations by holding a session to complete the political agreement in the constitutional declaration. Sayala also called upon the members of the House of Representatives to complete its investigation into the proposed elections and the constitutional referendum, in order to ensure the establishment of a civil democratic state.
