Ashraf Al-Shah, a member of the Political Dialogue Committee, stated that the only positive thing at the Brazzaville summit is the fact that it reaffirmed the terms of reference of the political agreement. He added that the committee, members of HOR, and the state must work to amend the constitution in order to achieve the unification of institutions. In turn, this would provide the necessary conditions for holding a referendum and elections. Al-shah added that the undermining of Al-Sarraj’s statements is an attempt to undermine the amendment; as it would change the leading figures and composition of the Presidential Council.
