On Wednesday, the Libyan International Peace Forum commenced in #Tunis with the participation of Libyan mayors, activists and civil society organizations.
The Forum is scheduled to run for two days; and is focused on supporting and enhancing the role of municipalities, civil society and citizens in building civil peace.
It is sponsored and supported by the Dutch Foreign Ministry, the European Union, the Institute for Diplomatic Studies and the Federation of Dutch Municipalities.
