On Monday, UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, called on Libyan officials to release illegal immigrants. Guterres asked the Libyan authorities to release women at risk, pregnant women, families with children, orphans and the disabled in a UN report.
The Secretary General stated that his mission in #Libya was to visit the detention centers of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Authority in #Tripoli, #Gharyan, #Misrata and #Sorman. He described the detention as arbitrary, adding that the detainees were not given the right to object before the law.
