On Friday, the European Frontier Protection Agency (Frontex) stated that it is prepared to cooperate with the Libyan authorities in the fight against illegal immigration.
The agency’s executive director, Fabrice Leggeri, stated that they have cooperated with operation Sophia to prepare the Libyan Coast Guard; adding that they have sent an expert to Libya to prepare for capacity building for future border management – according to AKI News.
