#Government #Libya #News – The Mayor of the municipalities of #Benghazi, #Abyar, #Ajdabia, #Kufra, #Sahel, #Al-Abraq and #Al-Qarqas request the reinstatement of the elected municipal council as it was formerly and as per the law, in a statement issued after a meeting held in #Benghazi yesterday.
The seven mayors explained that the municipal councils were the result of a democratic experiment, and that it is considered the only body with indisputable legitimacy. They added that after the complete liberation of #Benghazi there is no need for the military rulers who were appointed by the military chief Abdul Razzaq al-Nadori.
