The High Council of the State condemned the “unjust” siege imposed on the residents of #Derna, expressing concern over the continuation of the blockade. The Council added that the siege could cause a humanitarian disaster.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Council stressed that the continuation of the siege on the city is a humanitarian crime, calling on the Presidential Council to take the necessary measures to lift the siege placed on the civilians.
The High Council also called on the UN Mission to unconditionally bear responsibility in lifting the siege of the city and to help deliver all necessary humanitarian aid.
