Royal Dutch Shell, on Saturday, shipped a 600,000 barrel of crude oil from the port of Zouitina, the first shipment from Libya in 5 years.
A spokesman for Shell, citing Reuters, stated that Libya’s resources are large and Shell has a history in sales and promotion of Libyan raw materials. They stated that they welcome new business opportunities with the National Oil Corporation.
