The United Nations envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler, has stressed in a series of tweets on Wednesday that the unity and cohesion of the Presidency Council is an imperative condition to achieve unity in Libya.
He added that many of the participants in the Libyan political dialogue have asked him to call on Council Member, Mohammad Ammari, to rejoin their meeting and reverse his decision to suspend his membership.
This came after Mohammed Ammari, who is also the Minister of Specialized Council Affairs, declared the suspension of his membership in the Presidential Council following President Fayez Al-Sarraj’s meeting with Khalifa Haftar.
