The President of the Tebawi Congress, Issa Abdul Majeed Mansour, blessed the steps of consensus between the HoR and the State Council, according to the agreed-upon road map, stressing on a comprehensive national reconciliation among the spectra of the Libyan people, and the unification of institutions under one government; To block the way for those who want to divide the country and prolong the crisis.
On the occasion of the eleventh anniversary of the February 17 revolution, the President of the Tabawi Congress reiterated that parliament and presidential elections in the country should be held, according to a just constitution that respects all components of the Libyan nation.
On Thursday, the House of Representatives voted unanimously to nominate Fathi Bashagha as head of the new government, and voted by 126 votes on the twelfth constitutional amendment after it was approved by the Roadmap Committee assigned by the House of Representatives and the competent State Council committee.
