MP, Abdul Moneim Al-Urfi, said on Thursday that the parliament has so far received the files of 3 candidates for prime minister, who are “Fathi Bashagha, Marwan Omeish, and Ahmed Maiteeq.”
Al-Urfi, in a statement to Arraed, confirmed that the candidates will attend the next parliament session on February 7; To present their vision and programs to the deputies.
Al-Urfi explained that the Council will vote in the February 8 session to choose the new prime minister.
It is worth noting that the Parliament, in its session on January 25, attended by 120 deputies, approved 12 conditions to run for the position of prime minister in the next government.
