MP Al-Hadi Al-Sagheir said, on Wednesday, that there are no obstacles in the way of restructuring the executive authority, and that there is harmony between the HoR and the State Council, according to the political agreement and consultations.
Al-Sagheir added, in press statements, that the State Council will bless all the steps taken by the House of Representatives with regard to the executive authority to choose a new government, stressing that the door for candidacy for prime minister will open next week.
It is worth noting that the parliament’s spokesman, Abdullah Blehiq, said, last Tuesday, that the parliament voted that candidates to head the government, do not to require the recommendation of members of the Supreme Council of State, and that consultation between the House of Representatives and the State Council is continuing in order to achieve political consensus and reach presidential and parliamentary elections as soon as possible.
