Director of Moral Guidance for Haftar militias, Khalid al-Mahjoub, said on Wednesday that members of the JMC will hold a meeting in Sirte today, Thursday, to complete what the committee reached during its last tour of Egypt, Turkey and Russia regarding the evacuation of foreign forces and mercenaries.
Member of the Military Committee 5 + 5 Marjaa’ al-Amami confirmed in a press statement that the advisor to the United Nations Secretary-General, Stephanie Williams, will attend the meeting, and another meeting will be held via closed circuit with the Berlin Group, to discuss the results and the latest developments.
It is worth noting the the Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, “Mikhail Bogdanov”, had confirmed during his meeting – last week in Moscow with the Joint Military Committee 5 + 5 – his country’s readiness to contribute to the stability of Libya and the success of the work of the committee.
