The Director of the Media Center of the High National Elections Commission, Sami Al-Sharif, confirmed in a statement to Arraed on Monday that the deadline for submitting appeals against the commission’s decision to exclude a number of candidates has expired.
Al-Sharif added that the appeals process between the candidates also ends at the end of the day, and awaits the rulings and their decisions, explaining that any candidate who is challenged by another candidate does not mean that he will be permanently excluded from the lists of candidates and can appeal.
It is worth noting that a militia affiliated with Haftar is still besieging the Sabha court and preventing the entry of judges and employees for the purpose of considering Saif Gaddafi’s appeal to be excluded from the presidential elections.
