Libya’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Taher al-Sunni, called on the International Criminal Court to cooperate on the mass graves discovered in Tarhuna.
Al-Sunni said during the UN Security Council session on Tuesday, that these crimes will not be subject to a statute of limitations and everyone will be held accountable, and whoever is proven to be involved in these massacres will be prosecuted sooner or later,
Noting that they are awaiting the results of the disclosure of those involved and the fugitives.
It is worth noting that the General Authority for Searching and Identification of Missing Persons announced on Monday the discovery of a new grave yard on Abdali Road in Tarhuna, bringing the number of discovered grave yards to 89, including mass and individual graves.
