Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Technical Affairs, Faraj Qaim, said that what the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, said, is purely false and baseless.
In a speech to him with security directors and officers in the eastern region, “Cyrenaica” , Qaim said that they would be worthy of war if Dbaiba wanted to do so, and that they would not be satisfied with starvation and subjugation of the security and military establishment in eastern Libya, according to him.
Qaim added that the prime minister should adhere to his limits and not talk about the Qaim family, nor about people, but rather about his institutions.
Qaim added that he would stop the prime minister at his limit if he did not abide by it himself, indicating that he was well aware of the corruption that permeates the national unity government.
Faraj Qaim, in his speech, said that he is a partner of Dabaiba in the government and not just an undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior.
During his speech regarding giving 40% of the government to the east, Qaim explained that 20% of the government belongs to Cyrenaica, and that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najlaa al-Manqoush, is not affiliated with Cyrenaica or the eastern region, although she was a resident of the city of Benghazi in the past.
