Member of the Supreme Council of State, Mansour Al-Hasadi, in a statement to Arraed, called on those gathered at the Libya Stability Conference to support the elections and the democratic path, and to have a clear stance on the obstructionists.
Al-Hasadi stressed that previous experiences have always proven that whenever there is progress towards peaceful and democratic solutions, someone comes to intervene militarily to demolish them, and he welcomes and supports any step towards Libya’s stability.
Al-Hasadi explained that there is no solution in Libya except for peaceful and political solutions, and that everyone should prepare the ground for holding elections on time to end the state of division, noting that it is clear that the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of the State, the Presidential and the government do not want the elections on December 24.
It is worth noting that the capital, Tripoli, will host tomorrow, Thursday, the Libya Stability Conference, with the participation of a number of foreign ministers of Arab and foreign countries and international organizations, according to what was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
