The Presidency of the House of Representatives called on all members to hold an official session next Monday, at the parliament’s headquarters in Tobruk, to discuss the draft budget submitted by the Government of National Unity.
In a statement published on the HoR page – Sunday, the Presidency of the House called on the Planning, Finance and Budget Committee to submit its report on the draft budget law to the House of Representatives before the scheduled date of the session.
On March 15, the head of the national unity government, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, submitted a budget proposal for 2021 to the House of Representatives, worth 96 billion dinars.
It is worth noting that the House of Representatives Planning and Finance Committee announced on April 10 that it would discuss the proposed budget bill, demanding that it be reduced as it is a large sum and has a bad economic impact.
