Wallace added in a statement carried by the British newspaper, The Telegraph – Wednesday, that “these suspicious groups, which are supported by a well-trained and well-funded army, represent a complex task for Western forces, stressing the need for his country and its allies to be prepared to challenge the malign influence of mercenaries in their places of work.
The newspaper indicated that recently declassified pictures showed the “Wagner” use of ordinary Russian equipment, including “SA-22” air defense systems, “Yushun 76” military cargo planes and anti-mine armored vehicles.
It is worth noting that the British ambassador to Libya, “Nicholas Hobton,” called on 29 of last March all foreign forces and mercenaries to leave the Libyan territories “immediately”, stressing the importance of continuing the political process until reaching the elections at the end of this year.
