Al-Jaafari: There are new reports of mass graves
The Director of the Information Office of the General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons, Abdulaziz Al-Jaafari, said in a statement to Arraed, on Monday, that work is still being carried out by the authority’s team in the “5 KM” agricultural project in Tarhuna, after two bodies were recovered.
Al-Jaafari explained that the Authority has received 17 reports of the existence of mass graves in a number of places that the Authority’s team will verify, respectively.
It is worth noting that the teams of the human remains search department at the General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons continue to explore the sites using a stratigraphic survey method and experimental fields in several sites in Tarhuna
