Two years after the aggression … Haftar was broken militarily and politically.

  • On the second anniversary of the aggression … Observers: Haftar has become isolated and faces exclusion due to defeat

Tomorrow, Sunday, will pass the second anniversary of Haftar’s aggression against the capital, Tripoli, and the entire western region.

After the defeat and collapse on the walls of the country’s capital, Haftar became isolated and alone in Al Rajma, as the victory of the army forces contributed greatly to drawing a new political map for the country from which a unified government emerged from which Haftar has no place, and his most prominent allies abandoned him.

Observers saw on the second anniversary of the aggression that the international dealings with Haftar have turned to a method of isolating him and ignoring him by the international community, and that he will be excluded from America, which will trim his nails.

Dismiss him and ignore him

The journalist, Ali Abo Zaid, said in a statement to Arraed: The international dealings after Haftar’s aggression against Tripoli tended to isolate him and ignore him, so the capitals did not welcome him and did not celebrate his visits.

Abo Zaid explained that despite his dismissal, he did not boycott completely and left the door open. Because of his control of the land and the the eastern region staying under his influence, pointing out that what is happening now from the new authority’s inaction in dealing decisively with Haftar makes him reactivate to restore his relations, strengthen himself and return to the political front.

Abo Zaid emphasized that the new authority’s reluctance to take actual measures regarding the unification of the military establishment will keep this paper in Haftar’s hand to play with it to achieve gains that will not serve the civilization of the state.

Excluding him from the Americans and trimming his nails

For his part, writer Abdul Aziz Al-Ghanai said in a statement to Arraed that Haftar was unable to enter the elections and will try to obstruct them, and here he will be permanently excluded by the Americans.

Al-Ghanai added that there is no future for Haftar in ruling Libya or obtaining a position greater than his current position except through elections, so we have noticed fundamental changes in his behavior and rhetoric a few days ago – as he said –

Al-Ghanai pointed out that Haftar, with the United States of America in particular, has committed a huge mistake , which is to bring in the Russians, so it has become necessary to trim his nails, according to him.
