Washington affirms its great diplomatic support to expel the mercenaries from Libya and threatens to punish the spoilers.

The American ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, said that the United States and other countries will use their diplomatic influence to support the immediate departure of all foreign mercenaries from Libya.

Norland hinted – during an interview with Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper – the possibility of imposing sanctions on those obstructing the exit of mercenaries from the country, considering this as a tool at the disposal of the international community against those who continue to violate the arms embargo imposed by the United Nations.

It is worth noting that the United States of America and European countries stressed in a statement on March 12 the importance of the withdrawal of all mercenaries and foreign fighters from Libya.
