Scientists in Angola discovered new, unknown mutations of the Coronavirus, which are more dangerous, in tourists from Tanzania.
According to the Russian agency “Sputnik” that there are three registered cases, all of them are in Angola, and that the new strain is the most dangerous among the discovered so far. According to the agency, this mutated virus is immune to antibodies and is easily transmitted from one vector to another.
Scientists fear that the current vaccines may be useless against it.
It is worth noting that Tanzania recorded 509 cases of Coronavirus in the latest official statistics, and 21 deaths.
