Member of Parliament, Gibril Auhaida, said on Sunday that the proposed budget from the National Unity Government was exaggerated and was not based on data and clear criteria.
In a statement to Al-Arabiya Net, Auhaida added that the budget was prepared in an vague and ill-considered manner, indicating that a budget of this size for a government whose work period does not exceed 10 months, and is linked to a specific work program according to the roadmap, must not be passed.
And the member of parliament added that the budget discussion sessions will start next week, and the location of the sessions has not yet been decided, but it is likely that they will be in the capital, Tripoli, and headed by Aqila Saleh, according to him.
It is worth noting that local media circulated, on Saturday, a draft budget submitted by the government, estimated at 96.237 billion dinars.
