The National Center for Disease Control announced, on Wednesday, that the South African strain of Coronavirus has been recorded for the first time in Libya, with 15 cases.
The center discovered – according to their statement, two new cases of the Corona virus of the English strain, explaining that the rapid spread of the epidemic in the country and the serious aggravation of the epidemic situation due to the entry of the two new strains, which is the reason for the increase in the number of cases accompanied by serious complications that led to an increase in the death rate in recent weeks. .
The center explained that the number of these cases is out of a study it carried out on 32 positive samples using the “BCR” operators to identify the mutated strains, indicating that they obtained these operators by communicating with the Turkish Ministry of Health.
It is worth noting that the National Center for Disease Control announced on February 25 the discovery of the mutated type of Corona virus, known as the London mutation, in 23 samples.
